Northern Group Members Get to Grips With Ford SUV & CUV Range

Ford UK held a range day this week in the Northern Group region.

Based at the Peak Edge Hotel, to the west of Chesterfield, the day gave attendees the chance to try out models across the Ford SUV and crossover range.

With a full media team in attendance, Ford brought along over 20 different vehicles ranging from the Ka+ Active up to the huge Edge. The event gave many journalists a first chance to drive the Focus Active crossover on UK roads, along with updated trim levels of the Kuga and Edge.

The driving routes took in some of the spectacular scenery of Derbyshire’s Peak District, with the longer run passing through the grounds of Chatsworth House. There was plenty of opportunity for drivers to take in tight country lanes (an experience in the Edge) and more open roads — and even some unpaved roads for the intrepid.

Particularly brave members of the media could partake in a mountain biking course, with event partners Cotic.
