Will Kilner

For nearly a decade, Will has been the motoring reporter at the Telegraph & Argus – the long-standing newspaper and website for Bradford and surrounding parts of West Yorkshire.

Born in Huddersfield, Will developed an early love of cars after being taken to various motoring events by his parents, including watching the legendary RAC Rally.

His flare for motors-themed writing first came to the fore when he was invited to interview Sir Stirling Moss and then drive in a convoy of historic Jaguars led by the racing legend to mark the opening of a supercar-themed conference centre in Bradford.

Will, who joined the Northern Group of Motoring Writers in 2014, has road-tested more than 400 cars during his career as a motoring journalist. He continues to be an advocate of in-depth motoring writing, believing that those looking to buy a car will want to read comprehensive, independent and balanced coverage about the vehicle first.

Away from work, Will is a family man who played semi-professional football for several years for the likes of Buxton and Curzon Ashton and also plays cricket at first team level in the Drakes Huddersfield League.
