Graham has worked as a motoring writer since 2011. He studied journalism as a mature student and landed his first full-time job with the now-defunct Only Motors in 2014. After a two-and-a-half-year spell there he moved on to Motor1 for a short while, then various freelancing gigs led him to Cazoo. Redundancy followed 18 months later at which point Graham again went freelance, before heading to Bauer Media as a senior staff writer on the automotive hub — covering the Parkers and Car websites.

He has attended dozens of motoring industry events over the years, driving hundreds of cars — and other vehicles too; Graham previously worked as a bus and coach driver and still occasionally takes the wheel. Graham is also a member of the Guild of Motoring Writers and is involved in the running of Ripon Motor Club events. He recently took out an RS Clubman competition license and intends to make as much use of it as possible.
